What is Vibrational Medicine?
An old idea is new again
Dr. Richard Gerber, MD, has written three books on vibrational medicine and he says it is “the emerging science of utilizing various forms of energy for diagnosis and healing.”
These include:
Vibrational Medicine: The #1 Handbook of Subtle-Energy Therapies
Exploring Vibrational Medicine
Practical Guide to Vibrational Medicine
Books by Dr. Richard Gerber, MDYour body is a complex system
that use electricity (energy) to perform many of its functions, including passing messages between the brain and the rest of the body. Modern medicine has used this knowledge to develop diagnostic and therapies such as,
- X-rays
- Cancer-fighting radiation treatments
- Electric nerve stimulation to help alleviate pain
- Light therapies that treat ailments like jaundice
Our body is a system ruled by energy.
Vibrational Medicine is built on the premise that our bodies and their electrical systems are also sensitive to more subtle types of energy changes.
Think of it as static on your car radio. Each frequency requires a specific path over which to transmit, the difference between these frequencies being relatively small, so even tiny amounts of interference make it difficult to receive messages clearly.
Your body’s lower energy frequencies are affected by even small amounts of energy disruption. These disruptions create ‘static’ that manifests as tension, anxiety, pain, or illness. Even changes within our own body can cause a disruptive effect. These interruptions can be both physical and emotional.
Vibrational Medicine uses more subtle methods to manipulate these energies and correct the ‘static’ being caused. These therapies include:
- Therapeutic touch
- Acupuncture
- Acupressure: TAT, EFT, Be Set Free Fast
- Kinesiology – muscle testing
- Consciousness awareness and ‘thought forms’
- Homeopathy, including essential oils and Bach Flower remedies
- Light and color healing
- Magnetobiology
